EA's future looks brighter than ever - with the company bringing multiple games to next-generation platforms including the Xbox Series X. One of these titles will of course be a new entry in the Battlefield series.
Although we didn't get to see any trailers or anything like that, chief studios officer Laura Miele was happy to highlight some very early development footage of the next chapter in the series. Here's a look, along with a few comments about DICE's next-gen work:
For every console generation, DICE sets the bar for excellence in audio and visual presentation. We are creating epic battles at a scale and fidelity unlike anything you've experienced before.

I am hoping for Bad Company 3. But it was disappointing to not even see a trailer. Or any other details about the next game.
Well, we're going to be at the level of realism I've hoped for since the GCN/Xbox/PS2-era, when many people were saying video games were "so realistic."
I'm still holding out for Bad Company 3, but would also like another Battlefield: Vietnam. If these screens are anything to go by, DICE are sticking to World War 2.
Not a military expert but aren't those uniforms from the WW2 era?
