Codemasters has revealed its first official release date for Dirt 5, with the game set to come to current-gen platforms (including Xbox One) and PC on October 9, 2020. It'll be "followed shortly" by the Xbox Series X version.
The company has also unveiled a new Career mode trailer for the game which you can see above, going into detail about how the mode works and the process of putting it together.
And although the Xbox Series X version doesn't have a concrete release date yet, don't forget that Dirt 5 will support Xbox Smart Delivery when it comes out in October, allowing you to begin playing on Xbox One and get a free upgrade to the Xbox Series X version when it's made available.
Will you be picking up Dirt 5 with Xbox Smart Delivery later this year? Let us know in the comments.

Looking forward to this but Still trying to push through Dirt 4 lol. Love rally racing games. Love the scenic beauty they present more than anything. Of course it has to play well lol🤣
I was going to say "pfft, why would anyone get it on Xbox One when the Series X is right around the corner?"
Then I remembered...
SMART DELIVERY.
