Obsidian Entertainment has announced that beginning June 9th and extending through June 14th, Xbox Insiders will able to play a free early demo of upcoming survival adventure game Grounded, giving players a look at one day in the life of its single player campaign.
As noted above, you'll need to be an Xbox Insider to take part, which allows Xbox users to experience new platform features and test games ahead of public release. Obsidian says that all accepted participants will be able to download the demo from the Xbox Insider Hub on Xbox One or Windows 10 PC, but getting access will be on a first-come first-serve basis due to the limited number of slots available.
Alternatively, PC players will also be able to try the demo via the Steam Game Festival on the same dates, which will simply require you to have an active Steam account.
Following the demo, the game will be officially coming to Xbox Game Preview and Xbox Game Pass on July 28th, with a full release planned for sometime in 2021.

Compared to Outer Worlds, I just can't seem to get interested in this one.
I am very curious about this game. I love that Microsoft is letting their teams make what they want. And since this is more of a side project to a bigger AAA game, I am all for it.
It’s similar to Bleeding Edge by Ninja Theory in that way. We’ll still get the next Hellblade, but why not support the studios on their passion projects too? 👍🏻
This game looks awful AF.
Obsidian is wasting time on this.
