Update (Thu 7th May, 2020 18:45 BST): Xbox Series X partner director of program management Jason Ronald has confirmed that this is indeed the Xbox Series X start-up sequence. Speaking in an interview with Eurogamer, he responded to a suggestion that it was more "chill" than the Xbox One boot screen:
"It's kind of funny you say chill! The word we used as we were developing it was elegant... premium. It's always an interesting part, because this is a new console generation. I love it. I've obviously been looking at it for quite a long time. It feels great when I turn on my Xbox Series X, and I actually get that moment."
Original Story (Tue 5th May, 2020 14:37 BST): Microsoft has posted a teaser video on YouTube for its upcoming Xbox Series X first-look gameplay event on Thursday, and it includes an intriguing animation that would appear to be the boot-up sequence for the Xbox Series X.
You can see it in the video above, which features a glowing Xbox logo and calming chime. If you turn the subtitles on, it actually calls the latter the "new Xbox sound."
What do you make of this? Is it the new start-up sequence? Do you like it? Let us know in the comments.

The simpler the better. They said that consoles are now called just Xbox and models are named Series whatever so this sequence makes a lot of sense.
I miss the OG Xbox startup seeing it in full hd today is literally SciFi material
Anyway, cool this one, too!

It's simple but effective, no nonsense.....
I like it.
Ooh yes... This I like. This I like very much!
Not bad, I care more about games. We'll get to see them soon.
Its okay. Tho I do like the original Xbox boot up, as has already been mentioned
I guess if the console boots up really fast, it doesn't have a lot of time to do anything 'interesting' or flash...
An alt 5 minute startup sequence by Cyriak would be something. On a serious note this is great, I like chill startup sequences like the PS2/Windows 98.
oooh nice! It's simple and sexy.
I love this start up.
