Moon Studios has released another new patch for Ori and the Will of the Wisps, and it includes some major new additions! Importantly, it adds HDR support for those playing on PC, and also improves HDR visuals on Xbox consoles ("with new powerful HDR settings!") and integrates Dynamic Resolution Scaling.
The latter should help for anyone previously suffering performance issues with Ori and the Will of the Wisps, particularly on Xbox One, as Dynamic Resolution Scaling allows the game to lower its rendering resolution to help boost its framerate and increase performance when necessary.
There's a massive list of new features, gameplay improvements, fixes and more that you can check out over at the official Ori and the Will of the Wisps website. From what we've seen so far, it seems fan reception has been very positive to the new update since it was released yesterday.
Have you tried out the new Ori and the Will of the Wisps update yet? Let us know in the comments.

I really wish I had an HDR display for my games.
My old 2010 Samsung C630 is calibrated and has a beautiful picture, but I really would love to have an HDR display.
I’m glad they are finally fixing this game. The way it launched was disappointing, despite all of the rave reviews.
I own the original Xbox One (so not the S or the X). I've got the game but have been holding off on playing due to all the issues. Can anyone confirm if an OG Xbox One is now at a decent standard for a playthrough?
I've been looking forward to this for ages so I'm waiting to play it when technical issues won't irritate me (and honestly, they should have just delayed the release until it was ready to ship)
I plan on picking this up eventually, I still have to finish Blind forest first..
Good, this game need optimization.
Dynamic Resolution it's not a great fix, but it's better than the drops...
The final battle has awful performance problems for me.
@djshep1973 Oh I know. I saw a racing game demo (I think it was Forza 7, but I could be wrong) running on an LG OLED with HDR turned on at it looked amazing!
