It was certainly a nice surprise last week when TT Games and WB Games announced The Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game was being made free to download on Xbox One. It's yours to keep once you've redeemed it, but you've only got one day left to permanently add it to your Xbox library.
You can grab the game either via the Microsoft Store or on Xbox One directly, and it has a download size of 27.87GB. We believe it'll revert back to its usual price of £49.99 at some point tomorrow, May 21st.
Find your inner ninja with the all-new LEGO NINJAGO Movie Video Game! Play as your favourite ninjas to defend Ninjago from the evil Lord Garmadon. Master the art of Ninjagility by wall-running and high-jumping, and battle foes to rank up and upgrade the ninja's combat skills.

I added it to my collection (thanks for the heads up btw) but haven't downloaded it yet...
I know nothing about 'Ninjago' either so I don't know if the humour would mean much to me
Downloaded it, but will admit I have not played it yet...
Downloaded, tried to play, but was barred from doing so by a prompt asking if I owned the disc, so I uninstalled. Was looking forward to trying as I’ve long been curious what the Lego games are like but haven’t yet played one.
@nofriendo Strange! Did you try power cycling your Xbox One?
@FraserG In fact I did not! I know this wasn’t a Game Pass promotion, but subscribing to Game Pass has resulted in a gaming attention span invisible to the naked eye, so on the first instance of being prompted for the disc, I uninstalled it as quickly as though I were drawing my six-shooter in RDR2. File didn’t know what hit it.
