Far Cry 3 Vaas Actor Hints He May Reprise The Role "Very Soon"

The iconic villain Vaas from 2012's Far Cry 3 was portrayed by actor Michael Mando, and in a recent Reddit AMA, he noted how important the character that he co-created still proved to him. Furthermore, he also hinted that he could be reprising the role of Vaas "very soon".

Mando made the comments in response to a fan who questioned whether the actor still gets recognised as the Far Cry 3 villain, or whether people have moved on:

"Vaas is my spirit animal - having co-created that character is something that will always be dear to me. I still get recognized as Vaas, and I still feel the outpouring of love for that character - makes me very happy. Who knows... maybe I will reprise the role very soon?"

He didn't provide any guesses as to how Vaas would make a return, so it could be anything from a TV show to the next entry in the Far Cry series. If it is the latter, it'll be interesting to see how he's implemented, given that (spoilers!) he was famously killed off halfway through Far Cry 3.
