The Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection is seriously good fun on Xbox (and presumably other platforms!), and we've been having a fantastic time with all of its modes so far. However, some players are getting a strange inability to invert the controls at present - something we assume will be rectified ASAP.

The option is seemingly supposed to be there, but it's not displaying on the in-game controls screen for certain people.

Fortunately this isn't something that bothered us during the review period, but if it's something that's a deal-breaker for you, the best bet at the moment is a workaround using the Xbox Accessories app. Here's what you'll need to do:

  1. Go to "My Games & Apps"
  2. Go to "Settings"
  3. Scroll down to "Devices & Connections"
  4. Hit "Controllers & Headsets"
  5. Choose "Configure" on your Xbox Wireless Controller
  6. Next to "Slot 1", select the little pen ("Edit") icon
  7. In here, you should see two options to "Invert" the Y Axis

How To Invert The Controls For Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection On Xbox 2

The option that you'll probably want to use the most here is "Invert left stick Y axis", as this will allow you to invert the controls for piloting vehicles. Just keep in mind that everything is inverted when you choose this, so if you find yourself running around on the ground, you'll need to push the stick backwards in order to go forwards!

As mentioned, we're assuming this bug / omission will be fixed in the near future, so hopefully you won't have to make use of this workaround for long. You might even be one of the lucky ones who can see the invert option in-game!
