Good to see you, Master Chief, and welcome to our Halo: Campaign Evolved - all 13 Terminal locations guide. Here you'll find a video walkthrough, or if you prefer, screenshots and descriptions detailing the whereabouts of every Terminal tucked away throughout Halo.

There is one Terminal per level across the main campaign and bonus missions, and thankfully, they aren't too hard to track down. Each one provides additional lore through the medium of transcripts, and as any Halo fan knows, we sure do love a good transcript!

You'll spot them by their glowing red light (green if activated), and all you need to is approach and interact with them. There's no specific order for collecting them, and if you happen to miss any along the way, you can always revisit levels to pick the remaining ones up.

Without any further ado, let's get on with detailing the locations of all 13 Terminals in the game!

All 13 Terminal Locations

Main Campaign

The Pillar of Autumn - Approach #01

The first terminal can be found in the observation room next to the one overlooking Master Chief's Cryo-Pod. Once you enter the room Cortana mentions the Covenant's attempt to catch Chief napping, exit out the other door, hook an immediate left and you'll find the Terminal tucked away in the back of a red-lit room.

Halo - Forgotten #02

Once you hop into your warthog, make your way towards the Forerunner tunnels as usual. After taking your second turn and hitting the ramp, hit the brakes and walk towards the opening on your right. You'll notice a small ledge you can drop down onto, with the Terminal waiting in the middle.

Halo: Campaign Evolved All 13 Terminal Locations 4

The Truth and Reconciliation - Inquisitor #03

The third Terminal can be found aboard the Covenant ship in the later stages of the mission. It's easy to lose your bearings inside Covenant architecture, so keep an eye out and use the room shown in the first screenshot as your starting point.

From there, head through the door on the right behind the raised area and continue through the corridor. Once you reach the next room, hook a right and follow the path towards an energy prison. Use the console on the left as you enter to deactivate the cells, and you'll find the Terminal inside the second cell on the right, positioned on the back wall.

The Silent Cartographer - Status Update #04

During this mission, you'll need to find a console to open a locked door. This leads into an encounter with a second encounter with two Hunters. Once you've smashed their back doors in, head into the corridor behind them. Walk past the console and continue all the way to the back, where you'll find the Terminal tucked away behind a small wall.

Assault on the Control Room - Tangent I #05

As you emerge from the long ice tunnel, head towards the clearing on the right. Just before the sloped rock with the turret positioned atop it, you'll find a door in the rocks on the left. Clear out the building, head up the ramp, then hook a right at the top and the Terminal will be waiting in the corner.

Be warned, you'll be a prime target for Wraith fire here, so you might want to make this a quick trip.

343 Guilty Spark - Tangent II #06

Some time after your first scuffle with the Flood, you'll stumble across a doorway surrounded by blood. Head inside and look to your left, where you'll see a corridor lined with dead marines and stained with blood and guns. In that room, take a right and follow it until you can get behind the central dividing pillar, and you'll find the Terminal lurking in the darkness.

The Library - Tangent III #07

After the first elevator and surviving the waves of Flood whilst 343 Guilty Spark unlocks the door ahead, continue through into the next central room, where you'll find two consoles. Interact with the console on the left, and destroy the Flood cyst blocking the door at the edge of the room. Head through the door behind it and the Terminal can be found beside the body of a fallen "reclaimer".

Two Betrayals - Alone #08

This is easily the simplest Terminal to find. After the cutscene in which Cortana reveals 343 Guilty Spark's true intentions, blast the Sentinels in front of you, then head behind the hologram. You'll find the Terminal waiting at the back.

Keyes - Consumed #09

Once you've boarded the Covenant ship and entered the large docking bay, drop down to the lowest level and head for the door on the right. Follow the corridor around until you reach a crossroads. Take a left followed immediately by another left. You'll find the Terminal resting against a sealed door.

The Maw - Arrival #10

This Terminal can be found inside the Pillar of Autumn's cafeteria. Once you enter the room, look towards the middle-right side, where you'll find it tucked away between two broken wall-mounted vending machines.

Bonus Missions

Boarding Action - The Path #11

As you make your way through the Covenant ship, Sgt Johnson will announce that he'll "have this lift up and running in no time". Once he reverses the lift, ride it upwards, then turn 180 degrees and head through the back-right door. The Terminal will be waiting on the wall just behind the door.

The Most Dangerous Game - Penitent Report #12

Much like the other Covenant ship Terminals, this one can be a little tricky to navigate to. We'll use the UNSC armoury room as our starting point.

From there, follow the path until you reach a room with two doors. One leads to an energy prison, whilst the other unlocks after you deal with the enemies inside. Take the newly unlocked door on the right and continue until you reach a room with a red glowing chamber visible through some windows. Head through the door on the right and you'll find the Terminal waiting inside.

Heavy Burden - Harmonious Clarity #13

Finally, this one is easy. You can either play through the mission until the cutscene where Sgt Johnson shoots the large screen displaying the Prophet, or load in directly at Rally Point Bravo.

Once the cutscene ends, head through either door directly in front of you and keep going through the doors until you reach the last room. On the left side, you'll find the last Terminal waiting for you.
