Blizzard is really gearing up for Diablo 4's June launch now, with the game's pre-release beta taking place last week in early access, and now extending to a free open beta for ALL players this weekend!

Without further ado, here's our (updated) Diablo 4 beta guide for Xbox players.

Diablo 4 Xbox Open Beta Release Date

The Diablo 4 early access beta is being followed up this weekend with an open beta on all platforms, available for anyone to try. The Xbox open beta mirrors the early access beta, except all dates and times are shifted forward by one week. So, the open beta is live from March 24th through March 26th.

The Diablo 4 open beta is for the following dates and times:

Open Beta Start Time: March 24 at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 4pm GMT
Open Beta End Time: March 26 at 12pm PT / 3pm ET / 7pm GMT

How To Preload Diablo 4 Beta On Xbox

Here's when you can get the Diablo 4 open beta installed and ready to go on Xbox:

Open Beta Preload Time: March 22 at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 4pm GMT

Given how much stuff is coming out when this game officially launches (FF16 and SF6) I was going to give it a miss to start off with. But now I can jump in early for a beta weekend... perhaps a pre-order is on the cards after all. I've only played the first parts of Diablo 3 but enjoyed it enough to want to try out 4.

Well, after Overwatch 2 being sort of a disappointment, I’m definitely not preordering Diablo, but I’ll be looking forward to reading the reactions on Monday.

There will be cap at level 25, if you are getting in to learn the meta or strategy it's a waste of time. Diablo games truly begin only at max level when you start farming for sets.

@Ashadelo in the 2nd weekend yes. The first weekend for early access no, only pre order and other promo codes can access the beta

I've been a Diablo fan since D2. Still playing D3 11 years after it was released. I've never pre ordered a game but this game is the exception and I couldn't be more excited. I've heard about people taking a day off work for video games and always laughed at that, but, I have many vacation days that are just begging to be used for this game. Biggest release for me since D3.

Same, Diablo is my all time favorite franchise, this is the biggest release for me since D3 (well D2R was massive as well)

@grumpypotato I am playing just to see what it's like and hope it plays well.

On paper it sounds great and they seem on the right track with most gameplay options. I mean the game even has couch co-op in these betas, let alone at launch.

While any progress made is wiped once the open beta is completed you still can earn some cosmetics by levelling to 20 that will roll over to launch.

Really looking forward to getting my hands on this. It's been a long while since I was excited like this for any gane. Please be good.
