Topic: Online Not Working?

Tried going online with a friend on a 360 game last night (on Series X) and when loading each game up, it states it cannot connect to Xbox live?

To confirm this is only within the 360 game and we were both still online on the series x. Tried out a few other 360 games and had the same issue.

Is anyone else having this?

Have you checked your router settings? Some routers will automatically recognize the series x but not the 360. You might have to set up port forwarding or something.

Weird, I've never seen back compat not work but I don't do online much these days, especially on Xbox. I don't think it's a router issue, the Xbox One should pass the connection through the Xbox 360 back compat VM. Probably an MS side issue. Is it still bad? Should I get Xbox Live and test it out? 360 Halo games are getting partially sunsetted.

This seemed to be a temporary issue that has long since gone. Cheers though guys.
