Topic: nyko zoom for kinect 10/10 review

Awesome!!! One of the main reasons I havent picked up a Kinect bar yet is because I have very limited room were my Xbox is.  I am going to be picking one of those up for sure when I get the Star Wars Edition 360, I Just hope that by than they have a white Zoom available cause a black one on that white sensor bar would just be odd.

So any chance of any of the Kinectaku reviewers reviewing the Zoom?

I just got it in the mail and tried it out. I did everything right. I put it under my tv, I calibered with the Zoom on. No matter what I did the Zoom could find the floor and would not configure. When I manually tuned it and used it on Leedmees it was a disaster. If I moved little to the left, it thought I was out of the image and the game went to pause.

How this _item_ got perfect score from IGN I can´t understand. Total waste of money. There were a reason for Microsoft warning people of this produkt. Don´t even consider buying it.

IGN can be like most places.  they don't like to review Kinect stuff and spend barely any time before writing a review.  I bet they thought it'd work and just gave it a 10.

IGN tried it out. In the review, his only gripe was the it sort of warped the corners of the images and gets less accurate the farther you get (but that defeats the purpose of the Zoom).

This has been getting very mixed reviews. If you look at the reviews on Amazon US most people say it just doesn't work. IGN said it was amazing, I think this site needs to pull its finger out and get a review done!

I think this site hasn't got access to a Zoom despite repeated harassment so a review might be a way off!

I had one; bought it with my Kinect because I was afraid my living room was too small, but I didn't need it so I returned it.

The box was really nice though. 9/10.

I picked this up after IGn gave it a great review. Iv tried it out and found it didn't really work. It made my kincet lag out with movements and when it did work seemed to not pick up the movements very well. So for not worth the purchase at all.

I've four friends who've all bought this and found that it made games that had slight problems before (due to the space they had) practically unplayable. Despite just being a fancy lens, it seems to make Kinect react slower to your movements.

I don't even get how that's the case, but there you go.
