If you prefer digital games to physical, then keep it.

If not, get the disc version of Series X.

Hope you don't mind me asking, why get the Series X if you want digital, when Series S is available?

Why sell? Just because you don't Sub to GPU, doesn't mean you can't buy and play ALL the games digitally - and get Play Anywhere (Xbox PC & Console versions), which you won't get with Physical

There is no guarantee that Physical disc drives will be included next gen so your Physical Library may not come forward. Physical discs have not been necessary since the PS4/XB1 era when Games had to be installed to HDD to 'run' - they don't run from the disc at all and the ONLY reason you have to get up and put a disc in to 'play' is because the installed game has to check you have a 'Valid Licence' to play, that you haven't sold or lost your Licence. With Digital, that Licence is attached to your Digital Profile so as Long as you are signed in, your Licences lets you access your Digital Library.

I don't know what reason you are considering selling, but I doubt you'll get what you want/paid for it back. I don't know if you are planning on buying 'different' Hardware or even quitting gaming by selling. I don't know your Financial situation or what your current situation is etc to be able to give advice.

So all I say is that a Series X is a Series X regardless of Digital or Physical drives - the advantage of a Physical drive really only benefits those with existing Physical Media going back 'decades' as you can't put discs in a Digital only console - but with ALL the Sales and every game releasing Digitally, its not missing out on any Games/Content. It will still get EVERY Xbox release.

So unless you have a 'reason' to sell, not just the fact its an All digital Xbox and you don't have Game Pass Ultimate as those two things alone make NO difference. Its 'no' different from Series S owners not on GPU or Series X Physical owners - the only difference is that Physical drives allow you to play Physical games 'new' and 'old' from previous gen if Backward Compatible - but they ALL need downloading and installing to internal storage to run regardless.

A pessimist is just an optimist with experience!

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??

Feel free to add me but please send a message so I know where you know me from...

Banjo-

You might regret selling a Series X now that it's more difficult to find and more expensive and the next Xbox is a few years away and will be more expensive.
