Topic: Shorter Games

Looking for some insight into what are some great games on gamepass that are shorter experiences. Ryse was great, i heard that both Titanfall games aren't too long either. Currently i started Brutal Legend, I'm hoping it's a shorter game, but I'm looking for some other recommendations for games up to 10 hours perhaps?

I have started it on PC, got it downloaded on the X so have to see if my progress carried over. My Gears progress didn't carry over so that was a surprise.

@Kefka2589 my progress on other games did carry over, Forza fir example, so I'm just wondering if the Gears Windows edition is stand alone from the console one. It did the sync when i first booted it up and bam... nothing.

@Kefka2589 I feel like I’m the only person who really didn’t like Hellblade lol.

As for shorter games, I finished Ori and the Blind Forest in around 10 hours and it was glorious!! Playing Haven now too which is on gamepass and I believe about 15 hours and I’m enjoying it but others may not.

Started Thumper yesterday. Doesn't seem like it'll be too long; around 7.5hrs according to HLTB, but not exactly relaxing. Think I'll probably play in short sessions between other things

Oh almost forgot to mention Battletoads for anyone who hasn't played it. Gets frustrating at times but once you beat it you feel good, story is pretty good as well and not overly long. Tell me why and the walking dead episodic games are also shorter and pretty good, they are more interactive movie than a game so FYI.

Observation and Deliver Us The Moon are basically 5-6 hours experiences that deliver excellent storytelling. Highly recommend to check those out!

@JGRockford can you complete the game in a reasonable amount of time?

It's a rogue-like platformer.
There is a "finish", so to speak, but it encourages repeated play with higher difficulties and unlocks.

I believe Sea of Solitude is only around 3-4 hours and I liked that one quite a bit

Streets Of Rage 4 isn't that long or maybe a game like Carrion.

I have recently completed 3 short game pass games.
1 = The Touryst which took 9 hours.
2 = Descenders which took 9 Hours.
3 = Name is Pedro which took 4 Hours.
Really enjoyed all of them!

Just finished Streets of Rage 4 (on Gamepass), and loved it!
It's fast getting through the levels.

Definitely second the opinion for recommending this game.

Im currently playing Haven and it's pretty good. It's supposed to be around 10 hours. I'm stuck in the one boss in Streets of Rage 4 after the elevator so i should pick it up again and see if I can beat it. Name is Pedro is leaving gamepass soon so I'll have to give that an emergency try.
