Topic: Sea of thieves, worth a go?

I’ve been looking at starting something a bit different lately and I keep coming back to Sea of Thieves.

Anyone played much of it and would recommend it? Is it more of a single player with the odd bit of online play mixed in or has it morphed into more of an online only kind of game? From what I’ve read it seems more of an online multiplayer world.
