Topic: Quake Champions on Console

hello.
do you think it is possible to petition a version of "Quake Champions" for console (Xbox Series / PS5)?

I miss an Arena Shooter on Console very much.
the closer we have, I believe, it's "SplitGate: Arena Reloaded" but it has some twists like the portals/gates mechanic.

unfortunately I don't like playing with Mouse & Keyboard so I'm unable to enjoy "Quake Champions" on PC.

what do you think about?

@Pigrotto I mean its possible you just cant do it here as per the community rules as asking people to sign it can come off as begging or spam. However petitions never work. Companies decided to do what they want and they probably thought about it and the cost for the servers and that probably isnt worth it for them.

what I was trying to understand it's if there is an interest about "Quake Champions" on Consoles.

as for the costs: "SplitGate 1" went very well as far as I know. unfortunately for the Second and Arena Reloaded there was some issue that eroded the community.

@Pigrotto Then fact of the matter is Quake Champions has a small player base on the PC and I cant see it being any better on console and MS probably thinks the same. Sadly unless your a Fortnite clone, a FPS just doesnt stand a chance in this day and age.

@Pigrotto Nah it makes sense. Thats pretty much where I stand with FPS games nowadays. Loved CoD before MW2019 but after CoD went the route of Fortnite's creepy uncle I just couldnt play it. The SBMM the design of maps to make safe spots for campers, the immersion breaking cross overs, I just couldnt. I have been trying to find an old style CoD game for awhile now and came close with XDefiant till Ubisoft saw it wasnt make CoD numbers and decided to pull the plug. Now I just am left wondering if we are ever going to get a old school like CoD game again. As a result I havent really played FPS multiplayer games in awhile.

anyway I chatted on Discord with a Quake Champions developer (because once I was a player) and he said there won't be a port. I didn't insist and thanked him for his time.

BUT...

it is rumoured there is a Quake 4 Remastered underway by Night Dive studios. The multiplayer of Quake 4 I played to death on Xbox360 and it is pretty much what I want.

let's wait and see.

@Pigrotto Yeah as I said with the low numbers on PC it doesnt make sense to port it to console. Again unless its Fortnite people dont want it appearently. Its very annoying especially when you dont like Fortnite but want to play an FPS but all you have is Fortnite clones. Hopefully that Quake 4 rumor pans out.
