Topic: Pure Xbox Game Club - On Indefinite Hiatus

@NintendoByNature it is understandable. I actually have it atm as I found a few months for under 8€ but cannot see myself coming back to auto-renewal.

@ralphdibny we are still in a tie for next month so you can start to think if you want to have a final decision 😉

Banjo Tooie, it's nice because we did banjo kazooie so there is a continuity there

Mafia, well it's a bloody good game but it was played as part of the Push Square game club.

I have no skin in the game as I can't play in September.

Hmmm we have had a Rare game recently in the form of Conker so Mafia might be a good change of pace.

Balta, I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm almost tempted to call it a tie and do a double bill. I think if it was 10 votes Vs 10 votes, I would have chosen one or the other. But with 2 votes a piece, I don't think the thread will get clogged up and confusing.

@Balta666 so the game is decided on the first of the month, ya? Because tomorrow I’ll finally get back to my Xbox so I’ll probably start mentally preparing now.

Hm, I am not really surprised the voting didn’t really budge. It does seem like we’ll be doing a double bill! I’ll have an excuse to play my Xbox more now.

@Yousef- yes, the game with most votes at the beginning of each month is the one to be played. Unless we receive an extra vote we will have a double choice this time around

I was going to toss a vote for mafia, but it wouldn't do any good since it'd be part of the double bill. Might as well hold my vote so those who want to play mafia can, and those who want to pay tooie can. I'll give both a try next month I suppose although I really didn't like BK.

Mafia is superb! Absolutely superb. Love the story, the acting, the overall feel.

@MjJmediablogger agreed, the OG is in my top 10 and a game I still replay often. The remake is great too even if not so high in my books.

@Balta666 Not sure if someone is going to manage to play and beat two games man that seems a bit to much to ask imo. Iam btw managed to beat one games we had earlier the games a club a few weeks ago. Planing to publish the review of it soon. So yeah even if I have not been active in teared I have kept an eye on discussion without wanting to infer to much with my own thoughts which like have been general thing for me as of late..

@oliverp the objective of the double feature is to give freedom to choose to play one or the other or a bit of both. Also looking forward to your thoughts on past games.

Like I said Mafia is one of my favourite games of all time and I have played many times to (including getting all special cars in freeride mode) and I own the definitive edition on Xbox. Because of it and also because I will be on holidays for a couple of weeks I will be skipping it and focusing on Tooie.

I have also finish this one in the past, although only a single time. This morning I have played the beggining including the first stage and unlocked stages 2 and 3.

@Balta666 Ok now I see. Did not wanted to be rude or anything just that I thought that there was an expectation to play both games this month if you wanted to be part of the club.
