Diablo IV and Starfield will keep you pretty busy in case you like them. You're just in time when Diablo IV dropped weeks ago and Starfield has received a 60fps update if you're on the XSX

I've also been hearing about how Redfall is now more enjoyable with the updates and you can now play offline.

The MRS might not be happy if you get knee deep with the Diablo IV season/pass. I could imagine spring/summer garden and home DIY projects getting neglected

Went a bit mad since Im off work until Thursday and finished a bunch of games. Mechanika, super woden gp and plastic duck simulator. I'm probably going to tidy up my library, box off ultimate 2d racing (underrated gem), and delete the games I'm not enjoying and finally jump back on Sonic Frontiers or Sleeping Dogs.

Great game with a tidy 1000g is a game called islanders. Its cheap but entertaining. I won't spoil it, it's an abstract management builder.

You get more intune as you play. On your seventh or eighth run it all clicks and you will go on a goldilocks stretch knocking off all the achievements. Well worth it!

Achievement hunters who have a Gamepass sub and some free time could tackle either "High On Life" and "Bramble" for the next five days. Both are short and could be done in 5 hours each if you focus on the main campaign. A warning about "Bramble". It's more gruesome and explicit than the last "Saw" movie. I thought it was a child's game in the first 5 min of playing.

@cardcrusher29 High on life is a love it or hate it kind of game. I loved it! Some of the latter achievements are a tad laborious, but yes I agree - well worth a go.

I agree. The humor is indeed polarizing. I'm not familiar with the creator's tv shows but I enjoyed the dialogue. "High On Life" comes off as natural compared to the humor or banter that comes from some games. About 5 to 7 achievements require time commitment or advance guide lookup. By my estimate about 20 out of the 32 base game cheevos should come naturally with a normal playthrough.

I've never understood why I'm hunting for achievements. No one will see them except you.

Everything we all do is pointless given the wrong perspective. Achievement points or rather any award equals the value it's perceived to be. If you don't value them, you won't care. All of us in the thread at least look at our gamerscores. So in that respect, It has some value.

Forza Horizon 4's festival playlist achievements must be started no sooner than late July to get all of them. The last playlist will end on August. The most time consuming one will require at least playing every other day. "Encore" is only achieved by .026 % of Xbox users and 2.22% of one achievement site.

With a sudden spike of players, now is also a good time to knock down the eliminator and forzathon achievements. The latter is somewhat difficult with only three players playing. It will be even more difficult to do when the game is delisted on December. The eliminator would be easier for now when gamepass subscribers are still around to play. You don't want to go for achievements when only the hardcore owners are playing.

I'm loving that there are more players around and there's no wait for online lobbies. I stopped playing those game modes on 2023 because of long wait times.

@AgentCooper well in Coops. I'm picking up GP tonight, and will take a detour on the back of your recommendation. Is it their best game yet?

@cardcrusher29 solid advice card crusher. Forza 4 has such a weird achievement list. I have a significant amount of spurious missing achievements for it. Mainly blanking the online and games as a service components.

How's everyone getting on? My achievement hunting has certainly come on since starting this thread. I've just started forza motorsport and am playing through my backlogged games as I go.

What I'm most looking forward to is the upcoming, Tuesday evening Halo with Agentcoops and hopefully picking up some cheevos.

So since my last update a bit more than a month ago I got about 1200gs divided by many games I did not go the full way to completion. Evil West as part of the game club , Gears of War Judgement which I still did not finish, shin Migami tensei V (retired early on), afterimage (finished), Still Wakes the Deep (game club but retired) and axion verge (which I played before on switch but I adore)

The FH4 and 5 online achievements couldn't be different from each other. FH5 only has two achievements related to the arcade and eliminator modes. The predecessor has too many. Good thing the map is better to play the eliminator with the sudden spike of returning and new players. Mexico feels a bit too big even when the eliminator lobby is full. It takes some time to reach other players and hiding doesn't feel as satisfying to pull off compared to the smaller UK location.

Most of my time is spent watching TV with my wife, she's not an Xbox fan, and I'm only playing sporadically on my Xbox. I'm currently playing Hellblade 2 and have a few achievements from that.

@themcnoisy I’ve been a little busy with unlocking achievements, just over 10K since I last posted here but you’ve clearly been busier achieving over 20K since you’ve created this thread.

I think if I ever achieve 1 million GS then I’ll only go after achievements in certain games rather than go out of my way for most that I play now till I reach that 1 million goal. After 1 million GS where does the goal end? 5 million? 10 million? IMO 1 million is the ultimate goal/milestone. My current GS as been built up since the Gamerscore system was implemented on Xbox 360 at launch, that’s almost 19 years ago! TBH I can’t see me getting to 1 million when it is took me that long to get to what I’ve achieved now which is shown below.

@Balta666 yo bro. Yeah GoW judgement is weak imo. I played a few levels and didn't go back. Stranger still I've never played Axiom verge, I know all about it and have been recommended it by knowledgeable heads over on pushsquare but never got round to it. One for the buy soon list!

@cardcrusher29 I agree the map in FH5 is great but too big, especially prior to unlocking the fast travel. Both are amazing though!

@crippyd I think Halo 2. It's upto Coops honestly. I've polished off most of the low hanging fruit achievement wise, so it's mostly just to chill. You can join if you want?

@MaccaMUFC you can't quit now Macca! I never had an X1 so trying to cover for lost time with my time off dedicated to the hunt. I've hit my original target and then some. But, it is time to play some bigger games again! Starting with Forza Motorsport and it's huge grind.

Hello. I like Achievements too ever since I got that first achievement in Jan 2006 for, I believe, killing 10 enemies in Perfect Dark Zero.

I don’t care about my overall GS but I just generally love unlocking achievements and getting as many as I can for a game.

Considering a Lenovo Legion Go so I can portably and natively play games with achievements.
