Topic: Controller for XBOX X

We bought our grandson a used XBOX C Console for our grandson. It didn’t come with any controllers.

We bought a model 1914 black controller on Mercari and, when we got it, the seller actually sent a Model 1537. The one sent also had a rechargeable battery in it (a Fosmon C-10714). We don’t have a Fosmon charger so we’d have to get one or buy a cover to use AA batteries.

Can you let us know the following?

a. Can the 1537 work with an XBOX X?
b. Is it better to get a Fosman charger and keep this one?
c. Is there an advantage to getting a 1914? Should we try to return or sell the 1537?
d. Is there a place to get a cover for the 1537 to use with AA batteries?

Sorry for all the questions but we aren’t at all familiar with gaming (unlike our grandkids 😂).
