"I bring you love" doesn't count...

I got a set of TLOZedlda inspired throwing knives from my big brother and we busted 'em out ASAP taking to the bitter cold back yard to see who's skills had progressed further. I think he let me win, one is a master sword, one a dark master sword and one a wooden sword... I love them, and their deadlines.

The money to save up for my band trip, I may wind up having money leftover to blow on some stuff for my new phone I got so much. Thank you family.

That's awesome! We're a community of support beyond just gaming, what's your bands name? MOST of us pX staffers have an instrument of choice, and one or two may have a foot or more into music journalism. Share with us ;D

A school band, not a rock band or anything. Perhaps I should've specified. I do know of a band within my school's band, but I'm not part of that kind of band, at least not yet. I do plan on getting a synthesizer for my computer, and that may persuade to make music for a living. Til then, I guess I'll have to disappoint.

For drums download this http://www.hydrogen-music.org/ @SuperKMx is a drummer so he may fire me for this advice, still for rhythms of ANY sort, or even "beats" (drums with notes) this free program ROCKS!

And as a synth, I'd say try FruityLoops and IF that isn't a huge headache in the way that say trying to compose on a violin as a guitar player might be? Move on to Abbleton music software and hardware... the diff being that FL Studio is free and nearly as functional as the paid software.

That is my gift to thee, pa rum pum pum (get it?).

I got a book (Guy Martin Autobiography) from my Son. What made it special was the personal message he wrote inside the front page. It brought a tear to my eye. #ProudDad

I got some socks (black, athletic cut). I appreciated it since I needed socks!

Disney Infinity 2.0. Plus two extra playsets, Hulk, Venom, Nick Fury, Rocket Raccoon and Groot.

I appreciate this, because I am a massive child. I also appreciate the big fluffy socks, because I like fluffy things, and my Rainicorn from Adventure Time scarf... Oh and money from my parents which is paying for more piercings.

This brought forth the mental image of picking up the acual Millenium Falcon at a store. "Yeah, I'll take Shadow Of Mordor annnd, how fast can that starship make the Kessel run?"

A decent-sized Amazon gift voucher. Basically means that I could order a bunch of stuff on Boxing Day, then have Christmas II on the Saturday when it all turned up.

Books and Blu-rays galore.

A double-edged razor, for the days when I don't have time to use the cut-throat razor I got for my birthday recently. So now I have a variety of vintage-style shaving implements.

Crikey. The one time I used a cut-throat razor it did NOT end well. Haven't been brave enough to try it since.

I use to shave my head until I decided "flip it" and grew Viking hair, now I look like Arrow on the island. Is a double-sided the type where you can go back and forth? Damn I'd cut my scalp up on shaving days. Now, both my hair and beard would utterly demolish those of our staff member Tyler Tresse (that's right Tyler, I said it!)

It definitely requires focus to use effectively, I just fancied giving it a go and found I like the sort of meditative element of having to pay so much attention not to cut my face off

I'm not so sure I'd use it to shave my head, though, that sounds a bit manly, even to me!

As I've now got the longest (and most luxurious) hair of the pX men (that's right Tyler, I said it!) I likely won't be shaving the old dome for a while. A few years ago Gillete patented a dualie razor made for head shaves. I totally get the meditative aspect, even my wise-man-beard requires massive time and focus to trim.

Double-edged is what is also called  a 'safety razor', the type that holds a 'traditional' single razor blade in its head, as opposed to the multi-blade cartridge types that you get these days.

I'd not realised that 'traditional' shaving was a thing until I happened across somewhere selling straights (cut-throat), but apparently it is.
