I actually got kind of bored of him lately, the videos tend to be too long nowadays and most cases focused on gimickys instead of games. I liked it better when it was more like a "Non-angry video game nerd" talking about games

I agree. I use to like him but then his videos started to get too long and then he brought in all his friends that just don't seem to click with his videos. It's almost like he's trying to make more full length movies or a TV show now rather then a review or whatever.

I like him, but he overuses the words "back in the day" like he's a f-ing historian.

He’s still very funny but I do wonder how much more he can do, as he seems to have covered most systems. He’s at his best when he’s talking about a system he loves (his recent remake of his GameCube episode was good) or mocks things that he still likes even with its faults (Wii U) but his cynicism can feel a little forced at times with some stuff (or it might be his age; he mocks classic Sonic games but at the time they were ground breaking to us 90s kids).

However I give him a pass as lots of his jokes land and he clearly works hard on his scripts. His friends are funny too when he has good sketches for them in character (the terrible therapist is a personal favourite).
