Hello everyone,

I’m looking for some help regarding an EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Edition key.

I purchased an Xbox One / Xbox Series X|S version of the game from Eneba and redeemed the code on my Microsoft/Xbox account. At the time of purchase, I mistakenly believed that I would also be able to download and play the game on PC through the Xbox app.

I later discovered that this version does not include the PC version of the game.

To be clear, I am not asking Microsoft, EA, or the seller for a refund. What I would like to know is whether there is any way for Microsoft/EA Support to reverse or cancel the redemption of the key, so that the code becomes unused/available again and could potentially be used by another account.

The game has not been used by me on an Xbox console, as my intention was to play it on PC.

Has anyone experienced something similar?

Is there any department or specific Microsoft/Xbox Support team that can reverse a redeemed digital code in exceptional circumstances?

I have already contacted support, but I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has successfully resolved a similar situation.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't think they would do it sadly but you'd be best off asking Xbox support chat via their website.

I work for Micro directly in the retail department

When you buy or sell electronic cards with currency in them (gift cards basically both in store or online) the moment that card gets “paid” for its “loaded” and can’t be “undone”
Some are locked to regions and some are locked to specific websites for use…
If you buy these “codes” online like on “eneba” you have to make sure they are for your country or use and for the correct amount and content first of all: but to answer what I believe is your question

No…you are out of luck…once a gift card is added AKA REDEEMED on any account it is now locked into that account and unless said account “purchases” and “gifts” whatever you wanna buy to another account well that money redeemed is locked to the account that redeemed it

Once the card is loaded and redeemed Microsoft can’t help you; as far back as the point of paying and “loading” the money on the card Microsoft can not help you…. Too much fraud over the last years also where restrictions on those digital cards has increased drastically to the point you’re not gonna find any help and good luck talking to a decent human and not an automatic system

I’m the future I would recommend you only buy PC Xbox games if you plan to play on there because the PC gamepass and PC store has way more games for sale than the console version and they don’t always align or are “playable on both consoles”
For example Quake 4 which used to be playable on 360 you can still buy it on the Microsoft store but only works on PC now..
