Xbox Fixes TimeSplitters Aiming Issue With Backwards Compatibility

The releases of TimeSplitters 2 and TimeSplitters: Future Perfect with Xbox backwards compatibility weren't without their issues back in November, but the Xbox team has confirmed they've now been fixed.

Both games suffered with a problem in which the aiming sensitivity was significantly heightened, and Xbox's Jason Ronald took to Twitter earlier today to confirm that this increased sensitivity has been remedied:

"An update to Timesplitters 2 and Future Perfect is available now which should address the feedback on controller sensitivity in these two titles. Appreciate the feedback and patience as we investigated."

We've only had a quick chance to test TimeSplitters 2 since the fix, but can confirm that the sensitivity definitely seems significantly improved following the small 300mb+ update, so it looks like it's done the trick.

TimeSplitters: Future Perfect wasn't quite so severely affected by this issue due to containing a sensitivity slider in the menu, but ultimately this update means you shouldn't have to play around with that feature anymore.

Have you had a chance to test these fixes yet? Let us know how you're finding them below.
