Thought I'd make a thread where we could discuss the all round awesomeness of the Batman:Arkham Knight game!

Oh, and where we could show how we do at the various challenges.

I'll just leave this one here...

So how are you enjoying it so far??? Must admit I think its great although I do get frustrated a bit with the Batmobile and those damned Riddler challenges... I don't think its as fluid or fun as being the Batman itself is. Maybe that's just me as that's an impressive time. I don't know what my time is as I've been playing the PS4 version - I love the retro skin for the Batmobile but the Nightmare challenge is definitely difficult - need to upgrade a few more Batmobile options first....

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??

Feel free to add me but please send a message so I know where you know me from...

I'd agree with you @BAMozzy being Batman is ace but the Batmobile sections are a little frustrating, especially the controls. Some of the series frustrations are still there for me and again it is falling on controls and some of the signposting could be a little better, I find myself getting stuck on seemingly simple puzzles, but overall it is a fantastic game. The first time I got the Batmobile, I was "OMG, I AM Batman!"

I'm loving it so far, particularly the various cameos that keep popping up. I'm going to keep spoilers to a minimum, but teaming up and doing dual takedowns with that other person......I loved it. The brutality of the combat I find really satisfying as well, especially when you take the last guy of the group down and the game goes into slow-mo. Gliding about the place, dropping in and having a "chat" with the residents.......So far I'm really enjoying it. The Batmobile is a bit wayward sometimes, especially at high speeds when trying to drift round the corners, but shooting the drones is good and I like the way it transforms. Also the remote control is very cool!

And @crippyd , I'M BATMAN!

A 'bit' wayward?? I take it you have unlocked the other of 'those' races to not give away any spoilers - the last one in the sequence of events is better suited to scarecrow.... The ability to to toggle battlemode does make a bit of difference to how the batmobile feels but I do wish there was more alternative control options! The amount of time I go to call up my gadget wheel and up up calling the batmobile - this is incredibly frustrating on some of the Riddler puzzles with the remote Batmobile... Even after 4days play and an overall completion of 55% I don't find the controls totally intuitive....

Started the main story and loving it. But I have a question. There's constant references to Harley Quinn's DLC so far, at least it seems. I thought that was going to be something to wait to play until after the main game. But if I were to start it up now would I spoil anything or is it meant to be somewhat of a prequel?

Likewise. Where does the Red Hood DLC story fit in? I have a feeling I know where that one might be going but if it doesn't spoil the main game I may play that before advancing further.

Personally I haven't started the Harley Quinns DLC - in fact I haven't even noticed how to access it yet. The Red Hood DLC was a 'Game' exclusive and as I bought from elsewhere, I haven't got that. I just thought these were a short sequence, separate from the Arkham Knight story line that lets you play as these characters to fight through a bunch of enemies with their own unique weapons and fight style. I don't think they are consequential to the story at all and I believe set in an earlier time to the game. I believe Harleys 'story' is set in Bludhaven (not Gotham) too. From what I gather, they are more like the challenge maps of previous Arkham games but with an added narrative...

Pretty easy to access the DLC. It's in a menu called Arkham Stories or something like that. One of my friends said the Harley Quinn story doesn't spoil the main game so I'm going to play it before going further. I've been told mixed things about when to play the Red Hood story so I'm going to wait on that one.

I found it earlier after writing this but thanks. I have played the Harley Quinn one and its definitely set in earlier time frame to the main game - no real spoilers in it.

Not sure how much 'story' I have left to go as I am now on 76% completed but that does include side missions and the Riddler trophies too (I have around a quarter). Still prefer to be the Batman tan the Batmobile though...

You can toggle that (Toggle battle mode) in the options...

@Captain_Chao5 I'm the same, keep thinking LT is brake. I'll be looking at the settings to rectify that. Cheers for that info @BAMozzy
