Lords Of The Fallen Dev Shares 'Free Content Plan' For 2023 On Xbox

Lords Of The Fallen launched last month on Xbox to a somewhat mixed reception, but that hasn't slowed the team down at all. In a new developer update, Hexworks & CI Games have provided a brand-new DLC roadmap for the rest of the year, and it looks stacked with new content for the soulslike action-RPG.

The title's upcoming New Game+ 'Modifiers' feature sounds a particularly interesting one - with the team calling it "a first for the genre". Here's a closer look at what's on the way for Lords of the Fallen in the coming weeks and months:

The roadmap includes "multiple new questlines", 12 new spells and more - and "weekly enhancements" have already started being implemented by the team. What's more, "further support is also planned" so you can expect to see additional content arrive in 2024.

As we mentioned up at the top, the reception for LOTF was mixed on release, but it did have a few technical issues at launch on Xbox. Hopefully, with the right QOL updates and general improvements, this soulslike RPG is becoming a solid option for genre fans.
