As an adult, I like it, and giving them a second look.
But there are concerns. Putting the Xbox name on a handheld that can’t play the vast majority of Xbox games is going to be confusing to the average American. Sure, if you are a PC gamer this makes a lot of sense.
But let’s not kid ourselves here. This isn’t far off from putting a Porsche logo on a Honda Civic, and selling it as the Honda Porsche Civic.
I don’t think people immediately think about the Dashboard when they think about Xbox. They think of games, their games. Not the Dashboard and its UI that seems to randomly change every 2 years.
This messaging desperately needs to be cleaned up. Right now it’s a total mess.
