So I recently bought Star Ocean the Divine Force and it turned out to be a rather good JRPG with a decent budget. There’s not much side activities but nowadays I appreciate a game that gets right into it 😂. Also bought the mass effect trilogy for 9$ it was a deal I couldn’t pass up, going to the 2nd one this weekend. Refantazio looks great but at 70$ I think I’ll wait until I finish these 2 and hopefully it gets down to the 60 or 50$ range 😌.

Recently finished Psychonauts 2, great trippy platformer. This week started Callisto Protocol from the creators of dead space and it starts strong. There is a lot of gore and scary stuff so not for the faint of heart but still pretty good. Also started Final Fantasy 14, the free trial. It’s being many years since I played a MMO and it is actually pretty good even on single player. Of course if you like your games right into action it’s probably not for you but I wanted something relaxing, doing some quests and combat here and there with decent story and for that it works 😂.

Last week was able to finish Hellblade 2 and it truly is a special game, especially considering it was made by a indie size team. Once I saw the really short credits you can’t help but praise what they’re were able to do with a small team. Was playin inmortals of aveum and was having some fun but in the middle part things drag and become difficult in the not so fun way so had to stop 🙃. Did try the new graphics mode and it look pretty good but with some stuttering in cut scenes. This week will finish Psychonauts 2, truly one of the best 3D platformers I’ve ever played, the story is simply nuts in the best way possible 😂.

Will finish hellblade 2, really good game but do have some advice for others trying it out. First look at the controls. This one doesnt have a tutorial so its easy to miss things like running with the L1 button. Also use focus to find hidden paths. Also tinker settings, I am playing on Series S anda It looked quite blurrey, turns out motion blur is default at max, I changed ir and It looks way better. Lastly it has dynamic difficulty, so if you feel its too hard be sure to change it.
