@BacklogBrad a 4-5x increase in GPU power, 3-4x increase in CPU power, and nearly, if not fully doubling the amount of memory isn't a "microscopic" increase, bud. Also, I think you greatly underestimate both how many people play Switch 2, and the power of a Switch 2. Most brand new AAA games coming out barely run at 25fps on Switch 2, so how on earth would Switch 2 hold up an entire console gen? It's not going to. PlayStation leads the pack, definitely not Nintendo.
