I am actually liking how developers are beginning to listen to their communities. For example, 343 industries has listened to the Halo community, and has communicated the entire time about changes, what they will be keeping, and how they want the gamers to experience what they remember from the old games. As a gamer,when the developer hears you, and will attempt to listen is a great thing, and it shows they actually care about the gamer, and their product.
Another thing thats been great is how indie developers are being treated as a whole. On Xbox One, they get achievements, and their games are greatly priced, and they are some of the best that have been released this year against actual retail titles. It shows the talent that is out there, who are getting a chance to show their craft, their vision, dream, and their universe.
