Re: WD Black's New 2TB Expansion Card Is Good News For Series X|S Owners

@themightyant : The fact that you can unplug it while the console is on and hot swap it with another on the fly is certainly worth the price.

I can't imagine stopping my gaming sessions, shutting down the console and then taking it apart and then doing it all over again just to add memory in 2024.

Heck even Sony knew better with the PS1.

Re: Call Of Duty Will Follow Same Established Development Structure Under Microsoft

Microsoft knows their current formula is working phenomenally, so there is no need to change anything....

Just to think Sony had the chance to have Call of Duty on Day 1 on PSPlus when Microsoft gave them the opportunity...but of course their ego got in their way to finally give PlayStation gamers something worth subscribing for.

Talking about a missed opportunity ...especially with this year's Call of Duty getting great reviews from everywhere.

@shoeses : Xmen?, Transformers? How can Microsoft work on games that they don't own the license for?....back then the old Activision had teams that took on licensed games, this was over a decade ago those people are long gone....I guess you didn't know that.

To work on licensed games you need to have a team with special talent for that or those games can end up in messes like what Sega and Ubisoft usually does.

And for your information this year's Calls of Duty at the helm of Microsoft is leading the pack as the most successful Call of Duty in over a decade.

@shoeses : So you are saying Microsoft should milk gamers the way PlayStation is doing by remaking unnecessary 4 year old games and charging again full price for a new rerelease.

Perhaps you prefer to be milked to death but I prefer the way Xbox does things, less unnecessary remakes and less full priced re-releases and more fresh ideas to rejuvenate existing IPs which has been the case with Flight Simulator while taking popular franchises to even higher heights which is the case with the newest Call of Duty.

@AgentGuapo : If that boost is as significant as the "boost" the PS4 pro players got then Sony need to start refunding those PS5 pro pre-orders....That infamous ps4 pro Tomb Raider boost comparison comes to mind.

A boost without a developer's patch it can only go as far as the game's code can allow....we could even see game crashes if the PS5 pro tries to load the game faster than what the game was originally coded for....now for stability purposes I can see a bunch of patches being released for the PS5 pro instead of actual enhancements.
