It does sounds promising for sure. But haven't we been through this dance of overly positive previews from people who'll do anything to stay in the good graces of the industry enough times to not take it at face value by now?
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it'll turn out great as I love the PoE world.π€ But I trust these previews as much as I trust emails from nigerian princes. π
If they'd release a meaty Xbox native handheld with access to the majority of the OG Xbox/Xbox 360 titles (and newer ofc) I'd be a happy camper. So many titles I've skipped over the years I'd love to play.
Having played both Pillars of Eternity games earlier this year I have high expectations of this game. Hope they haven't "streamlined" it too to much. π€
You're never better then your last game, so a good/bad game by a studio named 343i won't be more or less successful then one made by a studio named Halo Studios. π€·ββοΈ But I guess you got to keep those PR people busy somehow.
UE is a great, versatile, engine. But it seems to takes a lot of work to make it not look and feel "same-y" as other UE games. I wish them luck and hope they can pull it off.
Instead of going for the low hanging fruit of KOTOR (just do it already!), I'd love to see a return to the Riddick games. Some tweaking and modernisation and I'd be all over that. Had so much fun with those games.
This and State of Decay 3 are the beacons of light in the gloom of current Xbox IMO. I'm not the biggest fan of the latest GoW games but I can't help but feel a bit hyped for this one. Let's hope they nail it. π
It feels so unreal to see how soft Xbox are these days. No hunger, no aggression. Just an air of directionless reconciliation.
Did Starfield f**k up their plans? Was the lawsuite more damaging to their strategy then we've been let on? Was THIS the plan all along? Slowly get people more attached to their gamepass then to their console...and then down the line try to dominate cloud/subscription gaming?
Who tf knows, something is cooking that's for sure. π€·ββοΈ
On the surface this seems petty af. But seeing as it's a lawsuit regarding patent infringement and not copyright, who knows what kind of "dirt" the Nintendo lawyers has dug up.
Doubt they'd sue unless it has some legs. I guess time will tell.
I haven't had any expectations from them since I saw an interview with Todd after the release of Skyrim where he proudly admitted that since Morrowind the focus has been to remove systems and choices so that it's easier to pick up and play.
Since then they've been on a unrelenting journey towards casual slop. But it made them mountains of cash so I can't blame them. π€·ββοΈ

I'm very much looking forward to this release, they've got quite the shoes to fill but if they can pull it off we'll be eating good. π€

If it's some clodbased tech I'm out. π¬

Re: Thrustmaster's New 'HEART' Xbox Controller Is Focused On Eliminating Stick Drift Entirely
Another day, another controller. This sounds good on paper...but "endorsed by gamers" got such a try-hard vibe.
I love having wired as an option, but I do hope it has wireless support.

Re: Review: Starfield Shattered Space (Xbox) - Bethesda Fumbles A Big Chance To Reignite Starfield's Thrusters
Sounds like a 9.99$/29.99$ DLC. π€·ββοΈ
Re: Xbox Drops New Starfield Dynamic Background For The Arrival Of Shattered Space
Looks ok. Mortismal Gaming was happy with the dlc, he just thought it was overpriced.
I'll give Starfield a go in a couple of years when I can get the complete ultimate edition for 19.99$.

@abe_hikura That's quite a bit of pocket change, no wonder daddy MS started paying more attention. π
