@Titntin It's not backtracking, he is literally saying nothing. "Prices may go up int he future" is economics 101.
Now where software and computer based hardware is concern, prices are SUPPOAED to decrease (screw your greed Nintendo) because the depreciation of old tech is greater than inflation. If Series X goes up in price without a revision, then yes, that would be hypocritical.
But Game Pass IS going to increase in price some day. Literally every service on the face of the planet does unless it is killed off first. Amazon Prime, NetfLGBTPQIx, Disney+, are all recent examples that fallow the same business model as GPU. If you keep the price the same on an ongoing service over several years that service loses value based solely on the concept of inflation.
Some of these perks are fine. I really loved the 3 months of Marvel Unlimited, and the free dlc ones are great when I don't own the dlc yet.
I am curious why they released a dlc pack for Dead Space 360. Are they trying to drum up interest in the overpriced remake by pushing the Series X enhanced, far cheaper, still fully playable 360 original?
