@Kaloudz the disc an digital version console is wat Sony did. I think Microsoft may wish they’d done the same rather than the less powerful Series S. The Series S has had a few ball ache moments teyin to get certain games to work. Baldur’s Gate 3 became a Playstation exclusive for a while because of difficulties with the Series S version. I have a feeling the same might happen with GTA6. GTA6 will be Playstation exclusive for a while because of the Series S.
i do think if Xbox went all digital it would be bad for them. Xbox are constantly telling us they’re the best at backwards compatibility, going all digital, for me, would put Playstation at number 1 for backwards compat. Series X is my first Xbox, the only physical Xbox games i own are Elden Ring, Dead Island 2 and Left for Dead 2. I’ve owned every Playstation an i have about 70 physical PS4 games. I’d be pissed if Sony prevented me playin any of these on my console.

I have no clue why but my Series X takes 4 times longer to download stuff than my PS5!! Kids were both updating Fortnight at same time. The one on the PS5 was playing in 25 minutes! Series X kid was waiting an hour an 20 minutes!! He was furious!! 😂😂

It would be great if they put haptics on the controller like Playstation pads! Would love to play Forza Horizon with the haptics. Xbox pads are decent but they’ve added nothing to them for years!!

@GamingSince84 these are the most recent figures. Everything you mention is included here. I think last time i checked about early November Game Pass had 20-25 million subs.

@OldGamer999 this is one reason PS+ has millions more subs. There are def more AAA games on PS+ than Game Pass.

Only about 24 million more subs needed to catch PS+!!!

@GamingFan4Lyf why do ya think that? I’d guess that the majority sub to Ultimate. Same with PS+, i’m guessing but i’d say most sub to PS+ extra which is pretty much Playstation’s Game Pass. PS+ Premium is decent, i had one month PS+ extra left so i upgraded to PS+ Premium for a couple of quid. There are quit a few PS1 an PS2 classics on there but imo not yet enought to warrant a full year sub.

It was one game to the next, no intervals of a man in a suit rambling on for 10 minutes. I often don’t watch these live so i can skip to the good bits. I watched this one live an it was spot on! 85% games, 15% talkin.

The Last of Us 2 remastered! The new rogue like horde mode is excellent. Not started the story yet. Not finished it since release so lookin forward to that. The combat in The Last of Us 2 is incredible! So brutal an gory! One of the best games of last gen with incredible story an gameplay. The story is so dark!! It’s also one of the best looking games of last gen an now i can play a PS5 version!! 😆😆

@Fenbops i thought the same. So wanted them to go the Uncharted rout, 3rd person is just far more fun to play an looks better but this looked the best use of first person in this type of game. The whip looks awesome to use as a weapon!!

Avowed looks great, hellblade looks great too, hope it’s better than the first one, that bored me. Mana could be great, had a Mana game on the SNES, Secret of Mana maybe??? Indiana Jones was the big one and it does look incredible. A bit disappointed they didn’t go with 3rd person, that looks an plays so much better than first person in this type of game, wish they’d gone the Uncharted rout however it did look like the best use of first person in this type of game, the whip looks fun to use. We’ll have to see….
Maybe, just maybe we could get an Xbox exclusive that can compete with Playstation games!!

@rizangle i dunno, i never saw that. I’ve seen various sales figures from both PS an Series console an i think last i saw Playstation 5 had sold 56 mill.

@rizangle Sony never inflated PS5 sales. That would be impossible, the info is already out there. Xbox no longer disclose their sales yet we can still find out how many Xbox’s sold. Playstation 5 has sold over 50 million units, 56 i think?? That’s a fact.

There does look to be some decent games. Game Pass could become as good as PS+ this year. I mean this month i think PS+ takes it with Res Evil 2 an Tiny Tina amongst our games, i think Game Pass also gets Res Evil 2 but i’d rather play on Playstation for the superior pads.

@Sifi and Starfield was dubbed the biggest letdown game. All that hype, all those delays, and a very average game releases!! They told us it would blow our minds!! They told us it would be as good as Playstation exclusives!! They lied!!

@TestXboxUser Spiderman 2 is my personal GOTY. Alan Wake 2 an Zelda are great, i haven’t played Baldur’s Gate an likely won’t unless it hits Game Pass or PS+. I hate turn based combat, it’s boring!! I want combat to involve me actually fighting an dodging an beating people up! Like in Spiderman 2! Not i hit you, you hit me, i hit you, you hit me, i hit you, i win!! How many fights ya ever seen like that???

I may buy this, it looks really good. A relaxing game.

It’s a decent driver but Gran Turismo is leagues ahead. I also prefer Forza Horizon too.

This is why console sales are important. I have stated before that console sales aren’t important to Xbox, i was wrong. Things like this are down to one thing, Xbox sales are poor compared to Playstation an Switch. Also of the 25 or so million Xbox Series sold over 75% of those sales are the Series S! A digital only machine. It is also the reason Playstation get AAA timed exclusives, because they have a far bigger user base. They only have to offer to cover the 25% Xbox sales plus a couple of mill extra an devs will snatch their hands off for exclusivity deals. Xbox would have to cover the 75% Playstation sales plus a few million with only 30% sales coming back. They’d be signin a contract that guarantees they lose money. Xbox 360 an PS3 sales were close an Xbox had numerous AAA timed exclusives.
