Long-time support developer Iron Galaxy Studios — which has worked with Xbox and Bethesda in the past — appears to have teased some sort of Fallout work on its LinkedIn page, leading to speculation that some sort of remaster work could be on the cards.
Indeed, the studio shared a workplace update a few days ago that talks about "what the company's been up to and what's coming up next" - alongside an image filled with monitors displaying Fallout's iconic "please stand by" imagery. No further context is given as to what this means, but it certainly looks like a Fallout tease of some sort.
The team also put the same teaser out on social media:
Of course, this isn't confirmation of anything specific, but we've been hearing rumours about Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas remasters for a while at this point, so could this be related? Potentially, although it was believed that developer Virtuous had a high change of working on those, given its recent Oblivion Remastered work with Bethesda.
Having said that, it's not like Iron Galaxy are strangers to the Bethesda-verse — far from it. The US-based studio has supported on various Fallout & The Elder Scrolls projects in the past, and it also worked with Xbox's Activision team recently on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4. We'll have to wait and see what this all means, but it's gotten folks into a bit of a frenzy about some potential Fallout releases from the team.
