The Steam Top Sellers charts are always filled with certain indie games that end up making a big splash out of nowhere, and Super Battle Golf is one of those titles — it's been a particularly big hit on the likes of YouTube and Twitch recently.
It takes the form of an online multiplayer golf game in which the idea is to mess with your opponents and stop them from sinking a putt before you do. You can hit them with a golf cart, whack them with your ball, fire lasers at them... you can get the idea. If you've got a bunch of friends to play this game with, it's going to be a fun time!
We've seen plenty of people asking about an Xbox version of Super Battle Golf, and the answer is that it's almost certainly going to happen. The developers have announced that a console version of Super Battle Golf is in the works, so unless they decide to skip Xbox for whatever reason (which is unlikely), it should be on the way to Series X and S.
Q: Will this come to consoles?
A: It will! We'll be bringing this to consoles! It's a bit of work to do, but we're on it!
In terms of how well this game has performed, it was announced at the end of February that Super Battle Golf sold 400,000 copies in just a week, described as "so incredible" by the development team.
They're still working on lots of new features for the game, so here's hoping by the time it eventually releases on Xbox, it'll be in an even better state! For now, we'll leave you with a description on what to expect from the game below.
An online 1-8 player golf game where everyone plays at the same time. Swing, shoot, sabotage, and finish first by any means necessary in a free-for-all rush to the hole.
Hit your friends with your ball. Ram them down with a golf cart. Fire an orbital laser from half-way across the map. Collect an assortment of items to stop your friends from getting any points as you make your way to the hole.

I'm just looking for an Everybodys / Hotshots Golf style of game on XBox - the last one was Tee Off on the 360 . Powerstar Golf doesn't have online play - its has a weird system of setting a score for a round then inviting your mates to beat it, with no simultaneous play.
There is Golf with Your Friends but it is crazy golf & not proper golf courses
Was hoping Claphands Easy Come, Easy Golf might have made it over from the Switch
