Ahead of launch on Xbox Game Pass this May, Playground Games has detailed the key PC specs required for Forza Horizon 6, including confirmation of ray tracing features and ROG Xbox Ally compatibility for its new open-world racer.

The team has provided detailed PC specs for Minimum, Recommended, Extreme and Extreme Ray Tracing setups - with an additional note that Forza Horizon 6 will work on both the Steam Deck and ROG Xbox Ally handheld devices.

Here's a look at the game's PC spec sheet:

Playground Games is also allowing for high uncapped frame rates and is supporting ultrawide monitor resolutions on PC here, as "Forza Horizon 6 represents a culmination of all our work on the platform to date". The team has also listed some of the upscaling techniques that players will be able to use, depending on their hardware setup:

  • NVIDIA DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation for RTX 50 Series, DLSS Frame Generation for RTX 40 Series and above, DLSS Super Resolution for all GeForce RTX cards, DLAA, and NVIDIA Reflex
  • AMD FSR 4 or 3 (depending on your GPU)
  • Intel XeSS 2.1

Finally, if you have the means to dip into ray tracing with this one, Playground has talked a bit more about the ray traced reflections and ray traced global illumination features that are present in Forza Horizon 6. We'll share a quote on that down below, alongside an example image of RT reflections working in-game:

"For players with compatible graphics cards, the PC version of Forza Horizon 6 supports Ray-Traced Reflections, which you will see on both cars and in the environment, and Ray-Traced Global Illumination, or RTGI for short. RTGI uses ray tracing hardware to compute more accurate indirect lighting and occlusion across both the open world environment and cars in real time."
