The Crew Motorfest Season 09 arrives next month, and this latest update to the Ubisoft open-world racer adds a new island to the mix that's channelling some serious Forza Horizon Hot Wheels energy here.
Ironically named 'Playground Island', the team says that "loops, magnetic roads and pure thrill collide with the raw intensity of a real NASCAR circuit" in this upcoming map expansion - which is free for all players when Season 09 lands on March 4th. The upcoming season delivers a new 'TrackForge' tool for players to get stuck into as well, alongside other bits of open-world racing goodness.
To be honest, we've not been keeping up with all of the post-launch shenanigans for The Crew Motorfest (not since its last map expansion in the form of Maui Island, anyway) - but this looks like a very cool addition to the game, and it may well lead us to jumping back into the open world racer to see what's what next month.
