So, Microsoft has just dropped its latest Xbox Game Pass roundup - and aside from what we already knew about, Saber Interactive's RoadCraft is probably the most interesting addition here. The team's latest 'vehicle sim' launched back in May to some great reviews, and it's still being well-supported here as we approach its Xbox Game Pass release in a couple of weeks' time.

First off, let's remind ourselves of those launch reviews from earlier in the year. In the end, RoadCraft settled at 77 on Metacritic and 81 on OpenCritic; some very respectable ratings for a more niche entry in the driving game genre.

Next, let's talk about what Saber is doing to keep the game interesting here in September 2025. Later this week (on Sept. 4th to be exact), more content is coming to both base game players and 'Rebuild Expansion' owners. The former will be getting new difficulty options and the 'Wayfarer ST7050 Fuel Truck' for free, while expansion owners will also get two new maps, new missions, and new vehicles & variants to enjoy.

Beyond that DLC launch, the team's Xbox Game Pass release arrives on September 16th, where we'll definitely be jumping into this one and giving it a whirl. As big fans of the MudRunner series this is definitely an appealing XGP addition - and we reckon it's going to be well worth a go on the service later this month.
