Xbox Adds Multiple New Demos Including One For Star Wars Outlaws

they fixed the gameplay issues with outlaws but the man-woman character is still v.poor to look at for hours

also the whole story is just thieving, not really hero anything, bit dull and pointless

I already finished it! Really good game. Solid 8 I'd say.

Demo or not, this game doesn't interest me and I'll never touch it, like 95% of recent Ubi$oft productions.

Outlaws is objectively a good game. Not great, not bad. Yes it has some standard open world genre fare but I'd argue most of what is here fits the Star Wars universe and in this case the player character very well. The graphics, music and overall feel of being in a Star Wars adventure are excellent. Ubisoft isn't for everyone and I've long since tired of most of their IPs but I'm glad EA isn't the only developer able to make Star Wars games now. It's refreshing to have one without Jedi as main characters. Outlaws was clearly made by people who are passionate about the universe. I got the same for $25 after all the various gameplay patches and it's a fun time and well worth it if you're a SW fan. Put it this way, I've been playing every genre of Star Wars game since the 80's and this ranks among the best imo.

Don't mind playing a demo if your save data transfers over to the main game, otherwise I pass. Outlaws is an OK game.

I completed it last year and enjoyed the game. I imagine it’s in an even better state now after several patches so recommended people giving it a go. It’s a bit of a downer though that after (potentially) 30 hours of play your save doesn’t carry over.

As a few others have said, it's a good game. Not brilliant but nowhere near deserving of the sad, bandwagon jumping hate it received. And the comments about the looks of the character (including one in this very thread) are just plain...well, weird. She's a good character - basically an everyday Han Solo. Someone trying to be this cool, suave thief with a heart of gold but constantly getting in way over her head.

It's a 7/10 and you can add one on if you're a big Star Wars fan. A lot of it release issues are fixed, not just bugs but actual gameplay improvements. That should be commended.

Bit strange that progress doesn't transfer over though.
