Two New Games Have Joined The Free-To-Play Lineup On Xbox

There's plenty of great content to check out on Xbox over the weekend including a bunch of Xbox Game Pass additions and some major Free Play Days titles - and now we can add a couple of new free-to-play games to the list!

The first of these is the Paragon-inspired "fusion of shooter action and MOBA strategy" known as Predecessor, which is now available on Xbox for the first time in the form of a free Open Beta via the Xbox Game Preview program.

The other is a multiplayer kart racer called Stampede: Racing Royale, which is available via the Xbox Insider Hub app on your console. You'll need to be quick if you want to sign up for this one, as it's offered as part of a limited playtest (open to the first 50,000 players) before it becomes publicly available at some point in the future.

We'll throw more details about each of these down below:

Predecessor

"Inspired by the legacy of Paragon, built with love by the community, and powered by Unreal Engine 5, Predecessor is the ultimate fusion of shooter action and MOBA strategy. Join more than 450,000 players and play for FREE now!"

Stampede: Racing Royale

"Welcome to the wildest kart racing event ever devised, where 60 players go bumper-to-bumper on outrageous circuits filled with power-ups. Avoid elimination and fight your way to the front of the herd in the scramble to be crowned champion!"
