Today marks the biggest Xbox release of the week in Resident Evil 4: Gold Edition, which combines the remake from last year with the amazing Separate Ways expansion along with a DLC pack full of outfits, weapons and items.

In the process, Capcom appears to have permanently slashed the price of Resident Evil 4 on the Xbox Store, bringing it down to just £32.98 / $39.99. This represents a decrease of up to 43% on the original price of £57.98 / $59.99.

We don't know about you, but we think both of these versions represent superb value for money, especially considering we gave the Resident Evil 4 remake a rare 10/10 last year, while the DLC received an "Excellent" 9/10.

There's every chance this price might be discounted even further in future Xbox sales, but if you're interested in picking up Capcom's stellar remake before then, you've now got the perfect excuse to do so!
