The Age of Empires team has wrapped up its "New Year, New Age" special presentation outlining everything arriving in 2024.

Starting with the main announcement, Age of Mythology: Retold has now been officially confirmed for Xbox Series X|S, and will be a "day one" Game Pass release. Below are all the other announcements and reveals during this event.

There's also a major Age of Empires sale currently taking place on the Microsoft Store and Steam. It's celebrating 50 million players with 50% off.

Age Of Empires 2: Definitive Edition will be getting new DLC titled 'Victors and Vanquished' on March 14th, 2024. Pre-orders are now live.

Season seven of Age of Empires 4 will launch in Spring 2024. It will include new content and features including a new free-for-all mode for quick matches and "much more". Xbox players will also get "team ranked" play. To top it off, there's a "New Year, New Age" login reward available now:

Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition Two New Civilisations

Denmark and the Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth appear to be joining the battle in Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition. This new DLC will be available for free in late 2024.

Age of Empires Mobile first look

A first look at the Age of Empires Mobile gameplay has been revealed. There's also a video developer diary to go with it. It's being made by TiMi and World's Edge, with pre-registrations now open on Google Play and the App Store. A release date isn't mentioned in the trailer but according to the iOS store page listing, it could be arriving in August this year.
