An Xbox controller based on the incredible Elden Ring sounds like a good idea to us, and that's exactly what's doing the rounds online right now, although admittedly it's hard to tell whether it's the real deal or a elaborate PhotoShopped fake.
The image below originates from a supposed PlayAsia employee who shared a look at a "Limited Edition" Elden Ring Xbox controller. It's apparently intended to celebrate the upcoming DLC release of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.
Immediately, alarm bells are ringing here in regards to the February 25th release date which would fall on a Sunday, although it does also mark the second anniversary of Elden Ring's launch. We're still pretty skeptical about this one, but there's also an alleged screenshot of the PlayAsia website advertising it, so it really is anyone's guess.
If it turns out to be true, we'll obviously let you know ASAP. It's also been rumoured that the DLC itself could arrive in February of this year, so perhaps we're getting set for a bunch of Elden Ring reveals over the next few weeks?
