South Park: Snow Day! Launches On Xbox Series X|S March 2024

South Park Digital Studios and THQ Nordic GmbH have announced the new 3D co-op entry South Park: Snow Day! will be arriving on all platforms including Xbox Series X|S on March 26, 2024.

Pre-orders online and in-store start this week for Xbox. There are two different digital versions to select from - the Standard Edition ($29.99 €29.99 and £24.99) and the Deluxe Edition ($49.99 €49.99 and £39.99). Both versions come with some extra content:

"Both pre-order editions include the Underwear Gnome Cosmetics pack including the Underwear Gnome hat, a stylish beard, and a green tunic. In addition to this, the Digital Deluxe Edition will also include cosmetic packs, weapon types, and a new game mode."

Along with this is a collectors edition containing the game, a snow globe, toilet paper holder, knit beanie, Tarot cards, and original soundtrack. It's priced at €219.99 / $219.99 /£189.99 and will be available the same day as the game's release. Here's a look:

Looks like a ton of fun, but it's not for me unfortunately. I don't have any friends on Xbox and I prefer single-player games in general so..
Hope they eventually make a sequel to Fractured But Whole lol.

I actually finally got a playtest inv btw for insurgency, but I've already played that years ago so I didn't give them a reply.
Still holding out hope to get a Banishers inv or sth haha

I feel like we've been spoiled by Stick of Truth and The Fractured But Whole having the exact visual aesthetic of the show. That said, this looks like it could be a lot of fun and sort of gives me flashbacks to the N64 South Park games.

Looks dead on arrival to me. Maybe fun for the first couple of days, and then to 100 people playing it within a week. Meanwhile, still playing Stick of Truth and Fractured but Whole.

Also getting rather sick of the plastic 3D visuals from THQ. South Park is meant to be played with the cartoon visuals.

I'll get it on a heavy, heavy discount a year or two from now. Instead I'll either replay Stick of Truth or play Tenorman's Revenge & Let's Go Tower Defense Play on 360, perpetually annoyed they're not backwards, in the meantime.

Hopefully it will be good will wait till it comes out first and how the game actually is before I get it or not would love if they did another tower defence South Park game I loved that one on the 360
