If you're excited for the release of Tekken 8 on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, then you'll want to register for the upcoming Closed Network Test, which takes place for those platforms between July 28th and July 31st.
Specifically, the game is getting two periods of tests, with the first one exclusive to PlayStation 5, and the second one occurring for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Here are the dates and times for the Xbox test:
- Week 2 – PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC
- 28th July at 09:00 BST – 31st July at 08:00 BST
To register, you'll need to go to the Tekken 8 Closed Network Test website and log in / create an account. You've only got until June 28th to do this, and keep in mind that selection is apparently based on a first come, first served basis.
We'll drop a bit more information about the beta below - the full game doesn't have a release date yet.
"The TEKKEN 8 CNT will feature online head-to-head "Ranked matches” with cross-platform matchmaking. Selected players will be able to pick from 16 characters including Jin, Kazuya, Paul, Law, King, Lars, Jack 8, Xiaoyu, Nina, Leroy, Lili, Asuka, Hwoarang, Bryan and the newly announced Claudio. There will be five stages available, Urban Square, Yakushima, Rebel Hangar, Sanctum, and Arena."
"The aim of this network test is to test the network quality along with granting a high end game experience to players with our new battle system and tactics, aerial combos, new gen graphics, destructive and interactive stages."
