The Xbox Game Pass lineup for May 2023 is about to come to an end, so as we look ahead to next month, the first title that's been confirmed so far is Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath: Vengance Of The Slayer, which arrives for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC as soon as next Thursday, June 1st.
And... well, this is a crazy one. You can see just how ridiculous it looks in the trailer above, while the description on the Xbox Store is even more outrageous! We're getting High On Life vibes here:
"We are X Slayers. It is we who fight The Psyko Sindikate. We pledge to defend the people of earth even though they're beep-holes to us and don't even deserve it.
Why? Because the Psyko Sindikate are freakin sick evil turds and are using the Hackblood (yes... they are stealing our powers... idiots) to bring evil enemies to life & take over the world and enslaven humanity."
As you can see, Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath basically plays like an old-school shooter, described as featuring "over-the-top weapons, cutscenes that could have been pulled from a different era, and a protagonist who cannot stop commenting on every single thing that happens, in the most crude manner possible."
The game is also a spin-off of the former Xbox Game Pass title Hypnospace Outlaw!
