At this point many of us have at least started Resident Evil 4 Remake (life gets in the way, okay!), and it's already become one of the biggest games of 2023. However, did you expect to see the creator of the 2005 original blast their way through the remake almost 20 years later?
Legendary game designer and Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami has taken to Twitter to let the world know that he has finished and "very much enjoyed" Resident Evil 4 Remake. Oh, and Capcom has thanked him for playing!
This is great to see and a lovely gesture - we're glad that Mikami enjoyed Capcom's new version of his original works. We very much enjoyed the remake here at Pure Xbox as well; it managed to land an Outstanding 10/10 score in our written review!
It looks like Mikami has been spending his time well since leaving Xbox studio Tango Gameworks, then. We wonder what he'll get up to next...
