If you've been running into issues accessing Xbox Live or any Microsoft services for that matter over the past few hours, it's probably because Microsoft has been running into some major worldwide server outages.
According to Downdetector, there was a big spike at around 8am UK time where Xbox Live, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook and more were offline, and Microsoft acknowledged this by calling them "network configuration issues".
Fortunately, it looks like Xbox Live and the rest of Microsoft's services are now returning to full recovery following the outages, so hopefully we won't see any further issues throughout the day.
