The 2023 Xbox Game Pass day one drops just keep on creeping up on us, don't they? Team Ninja's Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is just weeks away at this point, and ahead of the game's launch, the developer has provided a sneak peek at what to expect from the storyline.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is based around Chinese mythology, with a "dark fantasy" twist mixing things up for Team Ninja's latest project. As you'd expect from the creators of Nioh, tight, fast-paced swordplay takes centre stage as players master the Chinese martial arts to fight menacing demons and warlords.
"Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a dramatic, action-packed story of a nameless militia soldier fighting for survival in a dark fantasy version of the Later Han Dynasty where demons plague the Three Kingdoms.
Players fight off deadly creatures and enemy soldiers using swordplay based on the Chinese martial arts, attempting to overcome the odds by awakening the true power from within."
