If you were watching The Game Awards 2022 last night, you may have noticed a bizarre moment at the end of the show in which an intruder made their way onto the stage and proceeded to talk about Bill Clinton.
There was a bit of confusion at the time about who the person was and whether they were supposed to be part of the Elden Ring team celebrating their Game of the Year award, but it turns out they were nothing to do with FromSoftware:
As you can see in the video, the person was actually present for the entirety of the award speech, standing in the back and waiting for his turn to speak. He blended in pretty well, and even the camera focused on him when took to the mic.
It was a crazy moment in what was a busy night, but unfortunately not for Xbox Game Studios. We didn't see first-party Xbox titles at the event, although Xbox's Aaron Greenberg has promised that there will be plenty to show in 2023.
